The Order of DeMolay boys are on the March
Scottish Rite is into its current annual winter work schedule.  On the 3rd Tuesday of each Mon, beginning in August until near May, they do 3 or 4 degrees.  They do all 29 degrees, finishing up with the 32nd one.
Seriously: Do you know how to wear your masonic ring? With the compasses pointing toward you or away from you?

It is entirely optional.  If you wish to see the square and compasses in the proper position you wear it pointing toward you.  If you wish them to be viewed correctly by others, you wear it pointing the other way.

K.C.C.H.  Knight Commander of the Court of Honour Ceremonial
York Rite has tried something different in their Festivals....Instead of a long Friday evening and a long Saturday day, it's now broken into the three sessions.  They've had two and I'll get the schedule for the 3rd one as soon as I can remember it.

The girls of Sunburst Assembly #1, in ND/SD International order of Rainbow for Girls, located in Redfield, South Dakota are busy, busy, busy!  In the picture above we join North Dakota for a group picture at Supreme Assembly, which was held in Omaha, Nebraska.  Supreme Assembly is a meeting of the Supreme officers, who represent Rainbow all over the World.  The girls were able to meet new friends from as far away as Australia!
Redfield was the host of our first Official Visit / School of Instruction this past fall which was a great honor for our girls!  We normally have to travel to North Dakota, so it was a real treat to have North Dakota come visit us!  We worked all afternoon then enjoyed a trip to the outdoor drive-in movie, before finishing the day with a sleepover!
We are looking forward to our upcoming Installation of officers where we will install Erin Hoaas as our Worthy Advisor for the next year, along with her corps of officers.  Shortly after installation we will be heading to North Dakota for Mini-Grand, in preparation of our own Grand Assembly.
We are still looking forward to chartering a new assembly in Watertown, SD; however, adults willing to give of their time and patience are necessary!  I can’t explain how many rewards come your way when you give your time and service to the girls of our communities!  These young ladies are growing up before my eyes and have brought me so many proud moments, it’s amazing!  I’ve had many of them tell me their lives have been changed dramatically by being a Rainbow Girl.  These young ladies are getting ready to be our leaders, and most likely, our next generation of Worthy Matrons and wives of Worshipful Masters!
Anyone interested in helping with the Rainbow Girls, please feel free to contact me!
Being a Rainbow “mom” is the best experience imaginable!

This was done in due form and we knighted 5 of our own and 1 as a courtesy to Nebraska.
