New Year’s greetings to all the Brothers of Unity 130 and their families. Hopefully, you had a wonderful holiday season with lots of family and friends. Unity Lodge will be conferring the EA Degree on Jan. 26th. We would really love to see you in Lodge that night (and at our Stated Meeting on Jan. 12th as well). There is always room for more Brothers to learn a part in the ritual, or just being on the sidelines to support your Brothers doing the work.

Necrology Service
At our stated meeting on Thursday, January 12th, we will hold a Necrology Service to remember all of the Brothers of Unity Lodge who passed away during 2011. It is a modified version of the Masonic Funeral Service. If you have not attended a Masonic Service, this would be a good introduction---especially for our newer members.
Our MWB Ronald Lockwood, Secretary of our Lodge called in saying he is working on the year’s end reports, and would I say for him:
There’s some GOOD NEWS AND
there’s some BAD NEWS !!!!
The Dues are coming in at a great rate is the good news.
Also, he had 80 delinquent Brothers, and the bad news is that he feels badly that there are still 33 to go.
What this actually means is that an absolutely great year in new Brothers has been dampened by the fact that our overall membership rolls will not be much different from last year.
